Painter very activ in the 30', looking at the brutal growth of industrial landscape in big cities like Paris, Nantes, and often St Denis,in Paris neighborhood, but also able to took a snapshot sketches from some very quiet moments and places, like the work presented here, depicting a retired cottage in a not so far country but away from everything noisy and disturbing.
