Hans Van der AA
Photographe officiel lors de la construction de la Voie Maritime du St Laurent, Néerlandais d'origine, né d'un père galeriste, qui fût un des premiers à importer les oeuvres de Marc Aurèle Fortin. Hans Van Der AA est un peintre, photographe et surtout un grand aquarelliste. Cette gouache exceptionelle, représentant les Fours de la Cimeterie Miron, fut vendu la première semaine d'ouverture de notre gallerie rue St Paul.
Born in Neederland from a gallerist father, one of the first to import Marc Aurèle Fortin's works in his gallery. Hans Van Der AA was the official photographer for the St Laurence Seaway during the creation of the Titanest work in the 60's. He is a photographer first , also a painter, a writer, and a fabulous watercolorist. The watercolor presented here depicting ''Les fours de la Cimentery Miron'' in Montreal, been sold at the opening of our gallery on St Paul street.
