Ce tableau fût scientifiquement analyser par le centre de Conservation du Canada et qui ne trouva aucun élément anachronique à 1919, date du décès de Renoir, nous disant que malgré les repeints ( Dieu sait que Renoir retouchait sans arrêt ses oeuvres ) sur une bonne partie du tableau, la zone affichant la signature a été épargnée donc, semble intacte. soit bel et bien celle de l'artiste, d'aucun nul part dans nos recherches n'ont jamais vu ce tableau, qui en fait, était caché en dernier lieu dans la collection d'un artiste connu, ici au Canada en Ontario, et se retrouva bien avant d'être en Ontario, aux États Unis, spécifiquement à New York, dans une galerie New yorkaise, exposant des impressionistes, l'endos du chassis porte d'ailleurs le nom de l'encadreur, qui oeuvrait à l'époque dans cette ville et travaillait avec les grandes galeries qui exposaient les grand maîtres impressionistes, comme Degas, Renoir Matisse, ou autres, qui souvent s'étaient retrouvés de l'autre coté de l'Atlantique, par l'entremise de Mary Cassatt....enfin le mystère persiste sur ce tableau. Une chose est sûre, après des recherches intensives et la visite de presque tous les musées possédant et exposant des oeuvres de Renoir dans le monde, jamais nous n'avons retrouvé de tableau avec un enfant portant un costume '' Petit lord Fauntleroy '' ( le costume porté par l'enfant sur notre tableau ), le seul correspondant à la description du livre de Jean Renoir qui décrit également dans ses pages, le regard, et la mimique de l'enfant pas trop gracieuse, dû aux contraintes à porter ce costume incomfortable, et comme si bien mentionné dans le dit livre écrit par Jean Renoir titré, '' Pierre Auguste Renoir, mon père'' et édité chez Flammarion, et textes reproduits sur cette page. A part of history of our collector's life, this painting, signed Renoir, been scientifically studied by the center of Conservation of Canada which said anything wrong, we mean no element anachronistic to 1919, date of the death of Renoir, and the experts of the conservation center, added the signature zone is not touched as the rest of the painting, God knows Renoir plays all the time adding some more touchs in his works. One thing is sure, after many years of researchs we never seen anywhere a painting depicting a child with a real Fauntleroy suit as mentioned in the pages reproduced here from the book written by Jean Renoir. '' Child in Fauntleroy suit with a hoop '' seems to be the only one with this suit. and we let you make your own idea on this amazing portrait. Of course we still ask some importants houses galleries who sold Renoir, to presented us, one painting of a child with a REAL '' Little lord Fauntleroy '' suit, and more to their exercice a child with a HOOP.
